Circular economy

In September 2015, the United Nations adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which combines economic growth, social welfare and environmental protection.

Tire retreading industry is inspired by the principles of the circular economy. Lengthening a product life cycle and delaying its transformation into waste are among the most obvious examples of implementation of circular economy activities.

Carloni’s environmental commitment

IN MORE THAN 75 YEARS OF ACTIVITY, CARLONI’S RETREADED TIRES Reduced fuel CONSUMPTION AND CARBON DIOXIDE EMISSIONS.

For every 100 retreaded tires there are over 6 tons of CO2 that are not released in the atmosphere, preserving a greater amount of natural resources. Moreover since the carcass represents about 70% of the mass of a tire, by retreading we save about 50kg of raw materials per tire.
